Electrified Monorail System

SINGLE RAIL TRANSPORT SYSTEM WITH ENERGY TRANSMISSION BY INDUCTION METHOD

This system differs radically from traditional modes of transport, offering significant benefits. It is based on the principle of induction power transfer: electricity is transferred to a contactless conductor, fixed to one or more mobile vehicles. Long, costly commissioning is a thing of the past.

Electromagnetic coupling occurs in the air, with no contact, so the system does not require regular maintenance and repairs. Thanks to the lack of contact, the monorail can travel at high speed, over 10 m/s. Once the rail is laid down, any obstacle is no longer disturbing the traffic crossing it.

It is a clean power system that also resists outside influences. Moreover, the system doesn’t emit any sound. This significantly increases productivity, thanks to the fact that less time is spent maintaining and installing it.

PLC/TRACK-GUIDED TRANSMISSION OF WI-FI DATA

On a track of guided vehicles, signals and data need to be transmitted between the stationary part and its mobile vehicles. Process data, status and information regarding the product being transported must be exchanged continuously and uninterruptedly.

“Slotted waveguide” technology mounted on the support track allows these communications to occur, minimising interference and increasing performance when compared to transmission using a traditional antenna.

Signals with frequencies ranging from 5.0 – 6.0 GHz are transmitted by two radio modem devices (a WLAN access point and a WLAN client).
